BRUCE J. SOLOMON, D.V.M. 

Dr. Bruce Solomon’s love of horses and veterinary medicine started early in his life.  His father, Joseph Solomon, D.V.M., was a past President and founding member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners.   Bruce graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.  He joined Teigland, Franklin & Brokken in 1990 as a full partner. 

Dr. Solomon is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Association of Equine Practitioners.  His special interest is the use of ultrasonography to diagnose soft tissue injuries and evaluate thoracic disease. 

Dr. Solomon and his wife, Sheryl, have two children, Lauren and Eric, and many pets – dogs, cats and horses.  He enjoys playing golf and basketball, and coaching soccer teams for both of his children.
