
Jonathan Yardley, D.V.M.
Born and raised in the greater
Boston area,
Jonathan Yardley grew up riding sport horses. Dr. Yardley
received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue
University in 2003, while majoring in Animal Science.
During and prior to veterinary school, he spent weekends
working with a veterinarian at Suffolk Downs in Boston, and
in 2006, he graduated from Tufts University School of
Veterinary Medicine located in North Grafton, MA.
While in his second year of vet school, Dr. Yardley received a National
Institute of Health summer research grant and performed
research on the analgesic properties of Ibuprofen in horses
with navicular syndrome at
Oklahoma
State
University
School of
Veterinary Medicine using faceplate analysis. Following
graduation, he completed a one year internship at
Ferguson,
Hammock and
BonenClark
Equine
Hospital in
Ocala
Florida. Dr.
Yardley joined Teigland, Franklin, and Brokken, DVMs in July
2007.
Dr. Yardley is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association,
the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the
Florida
Association of Equine Practitioners.
When not working, Jonathan enjoys watching sports, golfing and spending
time with his girlfriend. Jonathan is a die-hard
Boston Red Sox fan and an avid
New
England Patriots fan.
