Martine Rodgers, D.V.M.
Florida
Dr. Martine Rodgers is a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in a small town in Maine and was an avid member of the United States Pony Club, competing in rallies and local jumper shows. She also enjoyed fox hunting and snow boarding.
After moving to South Florida in 1995, Dr. Rodgers did her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry and her Masters studies in microbiology at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. While in school, she worked at a small animal veterinary practice that solidified her career choice of becoming a veterinarian. Once she began her vet school program, she was bitten by the horse bug once again, and she joined the student chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners. As a second year student, she was elected to the office of President of that student chapter.
Dr. Rodgers’ interests are in lameness, endoscopy, and digital imaging. She is currently a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Florida Association of Equine Practitioners.
In her spare time, Dr. Rodgers likes spending time with her husband, John, their two horses, Sugar and Charm, and five dogs Bosco, Sasha, Maggie, Diesel, and Sally. She also enjoys riding, fishing, diving, and snow boarding. |
